Our use of HubSpot extends beyond mere marketing. We also utilize its capabilities to refine our sales processes. For instance, our sales team uses the product they are familiar with, Salesforce, which is seamlessly integrated within HubSpot. This allows us to make the data on our boats and deals actionable, providing real-time insights that inform our sales efforts.

One of HubSpot's notable features is its ability to track and act on customer engagement across multiple media channels. By driving traffic towards landing pages, we encourage user interaction. Once engaged, we can monitor a contact's interactions across diverse media channels, gaining valuable insights into their interests. This information enables us to create custom automated marketing funnels and paid ad campaigns tailored to their specific interests and preferences.

A great example of this in action is how we notify our sales team of inventory page views on Seattleboat.com. HubSpot identifies unique contacts who engage with Seattle Boat by viewing inventory pages. Automated emails are then sent directly to the assigned salesperson for each contact, ensuring no customer goes without a greeting when they enter our digital store.

We have also created a comprehensive dashboard that groups all contact engagements in one place, from event RSVPs to email clicks and landing page views. This feature optimizes our review process, enabling our sales team to easily access and analyze customer interactions. 

 

Additionally, we have implemented an automated lead nurturing email campaign for contacts interested in the FunShare Boat Club. This campaign comprises a series of emails sent every ten days, each highlighting different value propositions of the club. As soon as a contact becomes a member, they are automatically unenrolled from the campaign. This way, our marketing efforts are targeted towards potential members and not current ones.
